Within the context of a diversity plan Catmaran wants to recruit more people who are currently disadvantaged on the employment market.
Persons with an employment disability are still offered few opportunities in the employment market. The Duo-day is an initiative that wants to do something about this.
Objectives:
- Companies are given a clearer picture of the potential of persons with an employment disability, and the services that can professionally support them.
- Job-seekers gain a better picture of the requirements of a certain job, and can convince employers of their potential.
- Employment officers have a clearer picture of companies' expectations so they can offer better support to job-seekers when looking for a job.
Within the context of the Duo-day, on 22 March 2011 Catmaran will be holding an open day to give persons with an employment disability a taste of the activities and, who knows, maybe help some to find a permanent job.
